January 28, 2015 Membership Luncheon Featuring Dr. Suzonne Kline

CFACDL welcomes Dr. Suzonne Kline as the guest speaker for our January luncheon. Dr. Kline is the former Administrator of Florida’s Sexually Violent Predator Program.  Florida’s Sexually Violent Predator Program (SVPP) is the second largest in the nation. It serves two primary functions: (1) screening and evaluation of persons in state custody who have been referred to the program, and (2) long-term care, confinement, and treatment of persons committed to the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) as Sexually Violent Predators. In that capacity, she was responsible for the coordination, administration and oversight of all screening & evaluation services, in addition to direct oversight of the Florida Civil Commitment Center (Florida’s secure, 720-bed, sex offender treatment facility).

She is now in private practice specializing in forensic risk assessment, evaluation of sexual offenders and consultation to national and state organizations regarding effective sex offender management practices. She has extensive experience in the following areas: Internet Sex Crimes Sexual Offenders Effective Sexual Offender Management Practices Public Safety Public Policy Risk Assessment Provision of Expert Testimony Leadership Mentally Disordered Offenders Competency Issues Psychopathy Program Evaluation/Consultation
