Jerry Buting
Avoiding the Mere Illusion of Justice
as a Criminal Defense Attorney:
Thinking Outside the Box

Given this special event, ticket sales will be handled differently than past CFACDL events. You must pre-purchase the tickets as there will not be a pay-at-the-door option. The cost is $25 Public Defenders; $35 CFACDL Members; $45 Non-Members. We expect this event to sell out and, as such, will likely not be able to accommodate walk-in attendees. Please plan accordingly.
Tickets will be limited to 1 per person. The ticket sales will be monitored and reviewed. We will contact you if there are any issues with the ticket option you selected. There will be “wait list” tickets available. Should the tickets sell out, but tickets subsequently become available, individuals on the wait list will be contacted, in the order that they signed up, and given the opportunity to purchase the tickets.
Registration for the event will begin at 2pm and the presentation will begin promptly at 2:30pm. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session so come with questions ready! Following the event, there will be a cocktail reception on the Embassy Suites terrace with some complimentary beverages and snacks provided. Mr. Buting will also have copies of his book, Illusion of Justice: Inside Making a Murderer and America’s Broken System, available for sale and signing!
